Is The Event Indoor or Outdoor?
The South Shore Real Beer Festival will be held indoors at The Nutty Irishman (Bay Shore). Smoking permitted outside only.

What does admission include?
You will pay one fee to get in. You will receive a souvenir tasting glass with a two-ounce pour line. You are welcome to sample any beer that the brewers have.

VIP Ticket (2 – 7 PM):

  • $50: includes pre-opening admission from 2-3 PM where VIPs can talk with brewers and brewery reps while sampling rare and unique brews in a stemmed goblet. VIPs are VIPs also receive unlimited BBQ (hamburgers & hotdogs) and FREE ADMISSION to the after-hours party at T.J. Finley’s.

General Admission Ticket (3 – 7 PM):

  • $40: includes one standard sampling glass and one food coupon.

Designated Driver Ticket:

  • $10: includes VIP admission and a pat on the back.

Will Food be Available?
VIP tickets include unlimited BBQ. General Admission tickets include one food coupon and additional BBQ can be purchased if desired.

Is there an age limit to get into the festival?
No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance into the festival--this includes designated drivers who must be at least 21 years of age. All attendees must show valid photo ID. No exceptions.

What is the admission charge for Designated Drivers?
Designated Drivers will be charged $10 dollars per ticket.

How does the Designated Driver ticket work?
The designated driver ticket works the following way. The designated driver pays $10 to get in. The designated driver receives a different color wristband and are entitled to enjoy unlimited BBQ—but not permitted to sample any beer.

Is it safe to buy my tickets online?
Yes, we use a secure ticketing agent to manage all ticket sales. All you need to do is make your ticket purchase, print your ticket, and come on down to the fest on event day. It couldn’t be easier.

If I don’t want to buy my tickets online, how can I purchase tickets?

Is there public transportation to Bay Shore?
Yes, take the LIRR to the Bay Shore station. The fest is just two blocks away.

Is there a coat check?
No, there is no coat check.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Only a limited number of tickets will be sold for this event. It is very likely that the festival will sell out prior to event day. If it is not sold out, General Admission tickets may be available at the door for $55 each. Order your tickets online today for guaranteed admission.
